Life Update

First of all I want to start with an apology as my friday updates are getting later and later into the weekend! This week has been so busy chading round a baby who wants to explore the world, teething and finding her feet, not sleeping and sleeping loads, solo parenting longer than normal but getting my wingman home for bedtime… its just been a week!

Other than Dan’s work travel and Amelia’s escapology and love of chucking herself in or off everything, it’s actually been a pretty uneventful week in the Wright Household… except the van finally came home (with a rather large welding bill)! Its nice to have it back and working much better, ready to get spruced up for summer adventures!

Half term brought us our first logistical childcare change, but it went really well with the grandparents saving the day ❤️ huge thank you to them, they know who they are!

Ths only other excitement this week was a damaged tree at the bottom of the garden, and the council kindly allowed us to keep the wood so we have some free heating next year (winter 2026) once its properly chopped stored and dried to be burnt inside…. *Adds axe and chainsaw to Christmas list*

Alphabet Decluttering

Alphabet Decluttering update, this week is the letter H

Ideas: Homeware, Home Decor, Hardware, Hoodies, Handbags, Hats, Holiday decorations, Hobbies, Health and Beauty products, Homes for things, Handy Containers, Hanging stuff up, Heirlooms

This week I’ve been totally slacking on the decluttering, as I’ve just not had the spare time around Dan’s work travel, so instead of getting rid of things I’ve focussed on finding homes for things that were lying around and hanging things like coats and washing up properly – a great idea from one of my followers!

Back next week with more PROPER decluttering!

Meal Planning

This week was not a good week for the AI meal plan as Dan did some extra unexpected travelling so we needed meals me and Amelia could eat and Dan could have when he got home.

Maybe next week I should share my meal plans with you so you can see what we eat as a busy family of 3 humans with juggling commitments…?!

I’ve started to electronically load our food audits into my template, which I’ll share very soon. Recording the files was a great idea but the transcripts are terrible, its had me rolling with laughter!

At work this week I’ve been usinging AI more and more, and I learnt you can load documents in… mind blown! To say I’m stunned is an understatement. This week I’m going to try loading my food audit template into AI and ask it to provide some meal examples using ingredients I have at home, will let you how we get on!

Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning took a planned back seat this week with the limited time we had but I’m planning to make up for that tomorrow by washing our pillows. I’ve just bought some new ones but we’re keeping the old ones for the van. The plan is to wash dry and vac-pack the old ones so they’re reasy to go when we  are. The plan is to make the van more accessible by putting a few bits ready to go at any moment rather than disrupting home life by having to take our bedding with us.

Thats all for this week folks, tune in to see how the declutting goes next week!

Love, Jo-Anne x
